Most of us want to keep our finances in order, but we need to expand our knowledge to do so. Buckeye Community Bank’s Financial Wellness Center, a free online hub offering interactive financial education resources, is available to all community members. Located at buckeye.bank/financialwellness, the resource is part of the institution’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the financial health of the communities it serves.
The Buckeye Financial Wellness Center, powered by the Banzai education system, offers real-world, scenario-based learning tailored to users of all ages and experience levels. A variety of topics are covered, including budgeting, debt management, paying bills, saving for major expenses, and building long-term financial resilience. Through its interactive format, learners can work through practical simulations at their own pace, making the resources accessible to students, working adults, families, and seniors.
“Financial literacy is more than just a skill, it’s a pathway to opportunity, long-term stability, and economic growth in our communities,” said Samantha Abraham, Buckeye’s Chief Financial Officer, who leads the program for the institution. “We want to prepare individuals for a lifetime of informed decision-making.”
Buckeye’s Financial Wellness Center grew out of the bank’s existing educational partnerships with several local school districts and Leadership Lorain County. Team members at Buckeye have volunteered their time to deliver in-person lessons, engage students and teachers in conversations about personal finance, and build connections between the bank and its surrounding communities. With the public launch of the online platform, anyone with internet access has access to the same high-quality resources.
