Scammers want you to act before you have time to think it through by claiming your account will be suspended, that suspicious activity has been detected, or that you need to verify your information immediately through a link they provide.

What Buckeye Community Bank Will Never Do
It’s worth repeating clearly: Buckeye Community Bank will never contact you out of the blue to ask for your Social Security number, account numbers, online banking credentials, or business tax information. If you receive a request like this, it isn’t us, no matter how official it looks or sounds.

• Requests for your account number, PIN, password, or login credentials
• Pressure to act immediately, or threats of account closure
• Links asking you to verify your account information
• Calls, emails, or texts that create a sense of urgency or alarm

What To Do If You’re Contacted
If you receive a suspicious call, email, or text claiming to be from Buckeye:

• Don’t click any links or provide any information
• Don’t call back any number included in the message
• Hang up immediately and call the Buckeye team directly at 440-233-8800
• Forward suspicious emails to abuse@buckeyebank.com
